Career Story
After high school, I took a job and learned about the printing business, to learn a trade and make some money to travel. I then traveled around the world for a year, which educated me in what other people and communities were like. Back in Toronto I threw myself into learning as much about the design and production business. In 3 years, I became the head of the department and continued that path for the next 28 years. Then I met my husband, and by accident, we created a way to make a skateboard deck that nobody had ever done before. So, we created a business which we have been running for almost 20 years now.
