Job Description
I take care of people when they can't take care of themselves. I help them wash, get dressed, eat. Pretty much everything you do everyday, think about if you couldn't do it for yourself anymore. That is what a PSW does. Now I work in the office for the company that helps and protects the PSW's

Career Story
Took English, sciences and math in high school and then went to work in an office in Toronto. and worked in the stock market. I decided to change my career when I was 33 and I went to college for one year to complete the certificate program. Worked in many different places over the years, and took different courses at college and university level to gain more knowledge. I used to work in an office before I went to college to be a PSW, so I have that experience. I now work in the office as the Director of Operations at the Ontario PSW Association
