Career Story
After high school, I went to the University of Waterloo and studied Environment and Resource Studies and Fine Arts. I left the program before graduating because I was unsure about what I wanted to do. I worked a variety of different jobs during my break from school, including as a makeup artist, a barista, and a hiring manager.
After some time, I started working at a law firm as a legal assistant and I really enjoyed the work I got to do. Two years after that, I started working as a legal clerk in estate planning and estate administration.
I loved working as a clerk, but after a couple of years, I decided I wanted a bigger challenge. I decided to return to university and complete my degree. Then I applied to law school. I am now in my final year of law school.
