Job Description
I have the joy of meeting people and discovering their gifts and skills on a regular basis. I then get to know each person better to see if they are the right fit for the job tasks and passion the company has. Think of it like when you are gathering friends to join into a game of soccer. You check out who is available to play and then you try to pick the right person for each team.

Career Story
I finished highschool and went into 3 years of working in retail before taking one class at univeristy level. I chose a class that would give me some insight into whether the industry of counselling was a good fit. This first step launched me towards a university degree in human services. In my last year, I did a student placement with Christian Horizons in their training department. From there, I did a variety of temporary roles while learning how to be in a professional office environment. I was in a Human Resources database role before discovering that recruitment was a better fit for my heart skills. I have been in a recruitment manager or talent acquisition manager role for the last 4 years... but I have been in this non-profit work for 13 years.
